Its time ...

to start a button jar! i mean really its a must have for any crafter really isn't it? .. and even those who aren't crafters would benefit from having a one stop shop for buttons (you know a place to put the spares that you acquire with some new outfits)

I also have many fond memories of Grandmas button jar and hours i would spend admiring them all while she was sewing - i think i even had hair ties made of shearing elastic and those smiley buttons.

So here it is ... our button collection thus far Pitiful but gracious and no doubt will be added to, dipped into and admired by my princesses in years to come!

Buttons have a way of multiplying overnight. Your jar will be full in no time.

A button jar! What a fab idea!! I'm going to have to go and start one, right now I think! (I currently have my random buttons scattered throughout sewing drawers and other strange places ;) )
